Like you, we are a family that is drawn to the outdoor playground that surrounds the greater Hayward area.
Oh, and we really love toys...and books...and games...and, well, you get the idea! Andrea is our head of research, always scouring to find the coolest items for the store. Craig is our facilities and media manager, trying his best to keep our fans updated on what's happening at Lake Kids. And our CTO - Chief Toy Operator - is Carter, quality testing and making sure you'll love what we have in the shop.
Our amazing staff are our true MVPs - they keep the store running and are ready to help you find exactly what you need. You can count on the team to treat you like family every time you visit!
Our Vision
Lake Kids exists with one simple goal: to be a fun, relaxed place where kids can play, imagine, and discover - and where families feel welcome the moment they walk through the door.
Our Story
We are all children at heart. We love to play, both indoors and out. We are hikers and mountain bikers, skiers and snowshoers, runners and explorers, and love to be on the lake. And there is no better place to do all of this than in the Hayward/ Cable and surrounding Northwoods, Wisconsin area.
But we also love toys, games, books and puzzles. Joy comes in many forms, and we love being able to provide what we love most as a family to all of our friends and visitors to this incredible corner of the world. Cribbage in front of the fireplace after a day of skiing the Birkebeiner trails, puzzle nights with friends and family to recover from days on the CAMBA single track, or toys and books to spur the imagination in between boating, fishing, or snowmobile/ATV outings - we love to help your family have fun while creating connection.
